![]() Simply experiment and see what sticks, the most satisfaction you can get from this game is theorycrafting teams and builds for bosses/dungeons, and seeing them be effective once you try them. Dont get frustrated because you lost someone, they are easily replaceable, and if you are playing in darkest or radiant there's no way for you to lose, just focus on getting back heirlooms and more money than you spend, heck go for short dungeons with no supplies and simply ditch the surviving heroes once you come back if you are really that desperate for money. It becomes boring quick but it might help you out while you are just starting. The only good advice i can give new players is to learn to stall. New monsters, classes, bosses, trinkets, whole dungeons, (and booba) the amount of content you can find in the workshop adds a cr4p ton of hours to this game, it is highly worth its price. The best part of the game is once you've beaten the campaign a couple times and you stop experimenting with different teams and what not (because you already "figured it out" ) there's a hell of a lot of mods to reinvigorate the game. Yeah rng takes a toll on everyone, but if you know what you are doing you are gonna need a *lot* of bad rng to kill off a campaign. Once you have the game "figured out" it kinda becomes a matter of getting through it. Once you start to learn what enemies do and where do they spawn, you can start putting together team comps that deal with them easily. Your first experience might be getting stressed out and killed a lot, not because you are unskilled or rng, but because you didn't know what you where getting into. ![]() So, a great big portion of this game is basically a knowledge check.
